Peak installed 12 shutters in place of the originals that had been blown and fell off. Installing shutters at a forty feet level was a challenge, and even some contractors like An Exterior refused to do the work and turned away. I am happy with Peak Roofing. The big blue tarp is gone and order has been restored. From the bigger things like demolition of the damaged roof overhangs and their reconstruction, to the details like the gutter guards and staining the trim, great care and skill were evident. It was also nice that the crew was friendly and took time to explain what they found and how it was going to be fixed. Fortunately, the damage was consistent with what our insurance appraiser predicted and the job went smoothly with everything wrapped up in a day, including a yard and roof that ended up with fewer leaves than when you arrived. I am pleased to write this letter of appreciation for the excellent service and repair work done on my house by Mr. Donnie Miller of your company. Recently my nextdoor neighbor had some repair work done on the roof of his house by your company and since my neighbor was very satisfied with the work he had done, I saw this as an opportune time to have some work done on the roof of my house. Before moving into our townhouse, the seller had a radon remediation system installed. The installer did not check the installation from the roof side. The installation caused vent unit, seal, and flashing damage. Water ponded up in the vent unit during a hard rain and poured through into the attic. At 3 AM, during a hard rain on 9/28, water came through a heating register and down the corner on an outside wall in the MBR. We awoke to the sound of running water, saw the water coming through the ceiling heat register, and running down the wall. We put buckets and towels in place to catch the water and prevent damage. The next morning, we started our search to get the problem identified and fixed. I called a roof repair company listed on our homeowner referral site. The company was recommended by another homeowner. I called at 0730 and left a message. The company's voice message said they opened at 0800. I called back and left another message. I did not get a call back by 0900, or at anytime since. I went to Angie's List. I called one Angie's List company and was told they could come out the 29th of October. I explained the seriousness of the leak and requested help sooner. No luck. I call another Angie' s List company -- Peak. What a difference. I talked with one of their customer service reps. She discussed my problem, listened to my request to get help as soon as possible, and recorded my contact information. She promised to get back to me as soon as she could get to one of their repair mechanics. About 2-3 hours later, I received a call back. I was told "Donny" would be out Saturday morning at 10 AM. 10 AM Saturday morning, the door bell rang. Donny Miller introduced himself, listened to my problem. After checking the area of the leak in the MBR, I took Donny to a 3rd floor balcony where he could access the roof. Donny started his review of the roof. Donny found the area that was the cause of the leak. Donny returned to his truck, collected the materials for the repair, returned to the roof, and repaired the damaged areas. It has rained since the repairs. NO MORE LEAK. Donny is a professional at his job. He came here Saturday morning from Front Royal. I am putting a recommendation on our HOA website for Peak too. If we have roof problems in the future, or when we need a roof replacement, I will count on Peak to get it done. Donny, thank you. Just a note, a little late but better than never, to say a big thanks for your prompt response to our call during the "derecho" storm. It was extremely difficult to get any contractor on the phone being a Saturday and the enormous need by everyone in the the aftermath of that storm. We recently had some roofing repairs completed by your team. I can not sing enough praises about your operation--all the way from start to finish! Just a word of thanks for continued reliable and good work at our home. We met Peak Roofing through our USAA insurance company when a large tree fell on our roof and left a large hole in the roof of our home. Peak Roofing came quickly to our rescue on a cold winter day with a large tarp until repair work could begin. Peak Roofing was back a few days later once the tree was removed from the roof. They did a fine job replacing our roof.

The next job Peak Roofing did for us was put "gutter stuff" in our gutters to keep the gutters debris free. That has made a big difference in the upkeep of our home as we live on a heavily treed lot. After the recent February blizzard, we needed a new downspout . Peak Roofing came to our rescue once again replacing the downspout.

Peak replaced my roof and windows. The price was reasonable, the communication was terrific (I did everything over the phone or thru email), the workmanship was excellent. I barely met any of the workers (did everything by phone) but since I allowed access to the home without me being there, Peak came out and did all of the measurements...soon after they completed the work. I subsequently paid for the job and was extremely happy the whole experience was smooth and did not take a lot of my time. That said, I did spend a lot of time researching companies. I recently had new shingles installed/replaced on a large  section of my residential roof . After initial difficulties locating roofers who would actually come to give an estimate, I found Peak Roofing Contractors, Inc.

The owner is Buddy Riggleman, and his office manager is Dawn Smith. Both were personable, professional and attentive. When it became necessary to change the date of the work, I was called long in advance and offered options. They are efficient at returning calls, a far cry from how I am usually treated. They were punctual on the day of the repair and came with sufficient, hard working roofers. They work was neat, and they cleaned and hauled away the old shingles, etc.. They work with contracts written in clear English (not lawyer gibberish),  and guarantee the work for two years.
