Veterans must live within our service areas: Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Frederick, Loudoun, Prince William, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, and Stafford Counties (𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴). Project details and dates of service will be discussed with the winning veteran after the winner is announced. February 1, 2025 – Nominations are open to the public
June 30, 2025 – Last day for nominations
July 4, 2025 – Winner announced

The project will be scheduled for the week of 9/11/25, Patriot Day, weather permitting.

There is a possibility of local media coverage for various aspects of this event. This is including but not limited to: before, during and after photos, social media posts, live coverage aired by news outlets the day of, and potentially following portions of this event. Additional media outlets may reach out for an interview at any point. Please keep this in mind while making your nomination as this is something that comes with this event. We want to ensure that the winner is comfortable with their project and likeness being shared with the public. Thank you.
